Selection and Grading
Wild Atlantic oysters are carefully selected for good shape and high meat content. They are then held in 15kg trays on the higher shore for 2 weeks to ‘harden’. This ensures they stay tightly shut in transit, resulting in a minimum shelf life of seven days.

Our Supreme range of oysters can be graded to the customers preference.

For worldwide markets we grade the following market sizes
No. 0: 125g+

No. 1: 110g – 125g

No. 2: 90g – 110g

No. 3: 70g – 90g

No. 4: 50g – 70g

Depuration and Supply
The controlling company Wild Atlantic Shellfish Ltd. operates a 4000kg EU approved depuration facility, so oysters can be supplied depurated and packed to the customers requirements. We can also supply undepurated oysters, if required, to customers with approved depuration facilities.
